Your entrepreneurial success is to offer the best solution to your customer's problem, to attract and retain them. What’s my idea about? Do I solve a problem for my customers or users? What do I know already? Survey, Proof of Concept, MVP? Will my MVP fulfill their needs? Are they willing to pay for it? How will I reach and retain them? Who should be in my team? Will I be profitable? Through specific tools over the 2 days of the workshop, you will be able to test these different points and answer these questions.This event is organized by International Trade Centre and iMakers. The trainier is Nadine Reichenthal, a graduate of the University of Lausanne (HEC Eco Po 1977), Nadine Reichenthal has coached and trained numerous companies and startups in “Business Validation”. Nadine co-founded the entrepreneurship program Graines d’Entrepreneurs. Nadine created the UNIL HEC Accelerator in 2015, then the University of Geneva Accelerator in 2020. She currently teaches entrepreneurship at the universities of Lausanne and Geneva. She is involved in many entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial projects as a trainer, coach or expert in Switzerland, China and in a dozen countries in Africa.

The second session of MSD 101's entrepreneurship training will introduce the concept of managing and building a business or startup by experimenting, testing, and iterating. The objective of the Lean Startup training is to introduce the concepts, terminology, and approaches. This module will be based on the Eric Ries methodology to; Build, Measure, and Learn. The final MSD 101 week is dedicated to flutter. Participants will practice mobile application development for Android and iOS. The sessions will engage participants with the Dart programming language, UI/UX implementation for mobile devices, mobile backend by utilizing a REST API and recommended development practices for a reliable product. In this week, frontend web development is taught with emphasis on building natural, easy-to-use, interactive websites. HTML and CSS will be used to create the static content of websites. Then JavaScript will be used to code the dynamic behavior of websites. Finally React will be used to create interactive UIs. Participants will engage in several exercises to create their own interactive website from ground up. The training (on November 20 and 21) will be a full-day training, which will start in the morning at the given time (8:45 AM) and continues in the afternoon after a lunch break.

Week 4 is dedicated to building REST APIs. Design and implement API services with Django-Rest-Framework. There will be a mini-project here to test your real-time designs and practices skill. The training (on November 13 and 14) will be a full-day training, which will start in the morning at the given time (8:45 AM) and continues in the afternoon after a lunch break.
